Jose Campos Biscardi (b. 1944) is a Colombian-born painter long associated with Venezuela, where he has lived since childhood. He studied at the Escuela de Bellas Artes de Cucuta and the Escuela de Artes Plasticas de San Cristobal.
Campos Biscardi's figurative work has been discussed in relation to Pop Art, surrealism, and new figuration. His images often bring together recognizable subjects with a heightened, imaginative sense of atmosphere.
