Malina Gallac (Colombia, 1947 - Venezuela, 2020) was a distinguished artist and museologist. She studied at the Instituto de Diseño Neumann and the Centro de Enseñanza Gráfica (Cegra), which equipped her to participate in numerous collective exhibitions and art salons beginning in 1971. Gallac received several notable awards, including the Mención de Honor at the I Salón Nacional de Artes Plásticas in 1988, the Pedro Ángel González Prize at the I Bienal de Puerto La Cruz, and the Julio Morales Lara Prize at the XLIX Salón Arturo Michelena, both in 1991. Her work is held in various private and public collections in Venezuelan museums.
